Shore watch

The BYUH Hawaiian Studies canoe, Iosepa is out in Laie Bay. Normally it is in the canoe house at the Polynesian Cultural Center but once a year the Hawaiian Studies majors train and learn aboard their floating classroom. Jim volunteered for the 2:00 to 6:00 a.m. shift of shore watch, just making sure that the canoe doesn't slip its anchor. Here are some beautiful photos of this morning's sunrise from Hukilau Beach.
