The 15th Annual Tew Easter Egg Hunt

Our friends, Donette and Glade Tew, host an Easter Egg Hunt every year. There's plenty of food, an egg bash and an Easter egg hunt. Beth cuts up fruit. The kids rush around finding plastic eggs with candy, money and other prizes inside. And the orange rolls are a indispensable.

Stake Dance Activity

The first activity for the Laie North Stake Conference week was a Dance Activity. Each of the ten wards were assigned a Euro-American dance, thus encouraging positive social activities approved by Church President Thomas S. Monson. Other wards involved the adults more in dances like the salsa, the waltz, the tango, the hustle, etc. The Laie 8th Ward was assigned the Jive. Fortunately it became a YM/YW activity. The rest of us in the 8th Ward got to watch. Here are some photos.

We're Going to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo . . .

While the public schools had a furlough on March 28, Monty's Bright Beginnings pre-school planned a day to the zoo. Josie stayed home. Jim had classes at BYUH. Everyone else went down to the Honolulu Zoo.
